The extremely popular RRP Super ROM ECU for ZC32S is grade up again with the following details.

  • 1. Electric fan control can be remapped.
    We can change the starting temperature in the mapping data/
    Before the electric fan started at 101 degree Celsius water temperature but we can change the data from 95 degree Celsius.

  • 3. Closing throttle adjustment
    The characteristic of rev down after acceleration step back at more than 4,000rpm was changed to faster especially 1st and second gear. The engine brake did not work so well before and also the reducing speed was not smooth before. So we had changed the mapping data for engine brake and also easy to operate heel & toe work at circuit race.
  • 4. A/F data map improved
    The response of accelerator improved than ver.2 again.
  • 5.Spark timing map improved
    Reduced the power-down by the change of seasons.
  • 6. VVT data map improved
    Changed the mapping data to aim the torque up at low and mid speed.


RRP Super ROM ECU for ZC32S
1) Fuel map

The basic injection map was adjusted appropriately and changed with considering the fuel consumption.

2) A/F rate control map (former fuel map)

In the latest ECU control, AF rate control map is read prior to the fuel map. For ZC32 Swift Sport, we change the A/F rate control map with strong torque in low rev and turn the engine lightly in high rev.

3) Ignition map

ECU of Swift Sport has the same mapping data to correspond to all of the world market and controlled. We can improve the map data furthermore in the high quality gasoline place like Japan with torque up and power up too. We found the proper injection timing from our vast test data and pull the best performance for M16 engine. We believe you can feel the difference of torque when you step the accelerator than the stock condition.

4) VVT map (Variable Valve Timing)

For M16 engine, the most week point is to adjust the VVT map on ECU. It is required accurately to control to pull the best performance especially high camshaft setting but we finally find the best mapping easy to control the car with high power. Also you can feel the effects of torque up in the low rev too. To change this mapping data, we realize the best performance which is never pulled in the stock data.

5) Torque control map

Swift Sport engine is not charged engine but we can reflash ECU by fuel map, ignition map and VVT map to obtain more torque and power. But finally Torque control map is needed to adjust the mapping data or ECU control itself try to manage to be a stock condition so we need to change the data of torque control map to activate the data changes. Sometimes the spark timing will be back to the retard position and throttle close earlier. We found the best mapping data for this torque control map and could adjust the best performance for ECU reflash.

6) Throttle control map

The stock throttle map is set for all users purpose with insensible throttle management. You can feel a bad response of car and also car does not move smoothly. We adjusted the mapping data of throttle control like a same response of wire type throttle feeling. In stock condition, low rev and high rev are different setting in response but we adjusted the mapping data without any incongruity feeling from low rev to high rev as same feeling.

7) Rev limiter change
7000rpm to 7700rpm

The stock limiter effects on 7,000rpm but we can change to 7,700rpm.

8) Speed limiter cut
180Km/h to 300Km/h

The stock speed limit is controlled by 180Km/h but we can change to 300Km/h

Customers impression
When using the auto cruiser, I felt something un-smooth drive feeling with auto cruising was ON but the problems was cleared now. I can use the auto-cruise function as stock condition as well.
Even the stock condition, I felt some shift change shock when I change the shift gear from 1st to 2nd even if I gave an attention the smooth clutch release. But now there?s no such a problem. Thank you for your adjustment for this problem by ECU setting.
I could feel the torque from the beginning after remap ECU and also I could drive my car without any uncomfortable feeling with torque up from low rpm to high rpm. When driving at uphill road or passing a car from 100Km/h with 6th gear, I could drive very comfortable.
I could feel the accelerator response and engine response were very sharp. I stepped down the accelerator as usual when blipping shift down, rev was higher than usual.
Swift Sport is not a car worries about the fuel consumption but I found the result numerical analyze by OBD connect is as same as the stock condition after remapped. Raising the torque made less fuel consumption with fewer steps of accelerator.
